PLAY HARD TO GET…boys love a challenge it brings out there need to be the gatherer/hunter.
O.k really though….about TEASEing your hair:
how many times have you been behind someone at the grocery store, church, bar, or other public place and wondered….
Does that person know that they have a small nest in the back of there hair? Should I tell her the BeeHIVE has left the runway? Should I give her a brush?…maybe all she needs a brush.
O.k. that was mean….I have never thought any of those things.
But really, lets figure this out, if not for ourselves for others and our friends.
O.k. here goes:
1.Blow dry your hair so it is totally dry
2. You will need a fine tooth comb. Most have a fine tooth side and a wide tooth side. ( just a standard barbers comb: nothing fancy here ladies)
3.BIG RULE: never tease on hair line…this creates the un-wanted nest effect.
4. take partings parallel to the part about 2 inches away form the part and grab a small group of hair
5. Pull it up with one hand
6. use comb in other hand
7. move comb up and down using fine side. only going about half way up the hair shaft.
8. continue around the head (again saying away from the part line and hair line)
9. you SHOULD now look like you have been struck by lighting….this is GOOD
10. Now with the larger wider tooth side start combing out the top of the hair to create a smooth look.
11. think of the teasing as support under your styled hair…notice I say UNDER!!
You would never think of leaving the house with your bra on but not your underwire right? Then please do not leave home without a little lift in your hair!!!
PLEASE REMEMBER TO PROPERLY TEASE!
